Bygging has no account, no server, and no tracking. Everything you record stays on your device. We don't collect your data because we have nowhere to put it and no reason to want it.
Who this covers
This policy applies to the Bygging app for iPhone and iPad (the “app”) and this website. Bygging is made by an independent developer, Axel Rafn (“we”, “us”). If a term is unclear, the plain-English intent above governs.
What we collect
Nothing. Bygging does not ask for your name, email, or phone number, and there is no sign-up or login. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you, because none of your information ever reaches us.
Where your data lives
The jobs, clients, expenses, labour, mileage, business details, and settings you enter are stored only on your device, using Apple's on-device database. We cannot see this information, and neither can anyone else — there is no Bygging server for it to travel to.
If you have iCloud or Finder device backups turned on in iOS, your Bygging data may be included in your own encrypted device backup, exactly like any other app. That backup is governed by your Apple settings and Apple's terms — it is never something we can access.
Network use
Bygging is built to work fully offline. The one time it touches the network is when you buy the one-time unlock, which is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Bygging receives only an anonymous “purchased / not purchased” result — never your payment details, which Apple processes and never shares with us. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third parties
There are none, other than Apple in its role as the App Store and operating-system provider described above. Bygging integrates no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no analytics providers. Nothing about you is sold, shared, or transmitted — because nothing about you is collected in the first place.
Sharing you choose to do
When you export a CSV or generate a PDF invoice, Bygging creates that file on your device and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes next — email, Files, AirDrop, a printer — is entirely your choice and outside the app. We are not involved in, and cannot see, anything you share.
Children's privacy
Bygging is a tool for running a business and isn't directed at children. Since it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 either.
Your rights
Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing on our side for you to access, correct, export, or ask us to delete. You are always in full control: your records are on your device, and deleting the app removes all of its data from that device. This design is intended to respect the principles of the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar laws by collecting nothing in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because Bygging has no way to contact you, we can't email you about changes — so material changes will be reflected on this page and, where relevant, in the app's release notes.
